Barrel and piston set big bore 12/18hp > 530cc

The big bore kit is a conversion for 12/18hp engines and brings the cylinder volume to 530cc with a compression ratio of 8.5/1. This results in more power and torque. The tolerances on the dimensions of the piston and the cylinder are well within the original specifications of Citroën. The cylinders are new castings, they are not a bored out old cylinders. The applied cross-hatch hone pattern is optimized for this use, and applied by machine. 

This cylinder kit needs to be run in. We advise you to not drive faster than 70 km/h or 4.000 rpm for the first 2.000 kms. After this period, steadily increase your speed. Only after a carefull run-in period will your engine reach it's full power potential.
