Reconditioning set double Solex carburettor, complete

This carburetter gasket set is our most comprehensive. It let's you clean en rebuild your carb completely. The jets and springs that come with this kit are suitable for the 26/18 (2CV) carburettor, but when hou have a Dyane or Méhari you can reuse your old jets and springs. This set will also fit on that type of (Méhare and Dyane) double barrel carburettor. Our more simple carburettor kit (A1.1139) does not contain: new accelerator jet, torsion springs, choke spring, new carburettor lid screws. It is advisable to use the thin gasket if the manifold or the carburettor is not completely flat.

We recommend that you level the carburettor base and also check the manifold. The surfaces must be clean and flat. If that is the case, just fitting a new thick gasket (A1.1133) will be enough to make the whole thing function without a vacuum leak. Only if you cannot get the surfaces of the carburettor or manifold flat, fitting a thin gasket at the bottom and top is a solution (A1.1176). Attention: Never use liquid gasket and tighten the M8 nuts evenly.
