Barrel and piston set Big Bore 2CV6 652cc 9:1 Ø77mm

The big bore kit is a conversion for the standard 2CV6 engine (602CC) and brings the cylinder volume to 652cc with a compression ratio of 9/1. This results in more power and torque. The tolerances on the dimensions of the piston and the cylinder are well within the original specifications of Citroën. The cylinders are new castings, they are not a bored out old cylinders. The applied cross-hatch hone pattern is optimized for this use, and applied by machine. For optimal performance, it is advisable to order a matching jet set. These jets provide the correct fuel / air ratio, and are suitable for the 2CV Solex carburettor. This cylinder kit needs to be run in. We advise you to not drive faster than 80 km/h or 4.000 rpm for the first 2.000 kms. After this period, steadily increase your speed. Only after a carefull run-in period will your engine reach it's full power potential.
