We at Burton 2cv parts are a passionate company dedicated to providing high-quality parts and accessories for the 2CV and other Citroën classics. But we are more than just a web shop. We are a community that shares our passion for these iconic cars and loves to share our knowledge and enthusiasm with you.

WHY DO WE BLOG?

Because we believe that by sharing our beautiful stories, information, tips, and tricks, we can not only better serve our customers but also inspire and strengthen the community feeling. Our blog will cover everything related to the 2CV and Citroën 2cv-like classics. Of course, we are happy to give you a look behind the scenes. We blog for everyone interested in 2CVs and other classics. Whether you're a diehard fan or just a little curious, this blog is for you!

WEB SHOP

For many of you, the web shop is the face of our company. That's why we'll give you a glimpse into the ins and outs of our 2cv web shop, and we have some great stories in store. For example, we once had a German customer who was stuck in Morocco with a broken piston and cylinders. The customer called ADAC (the same as the AA, but in Germany). ADAC called us, we sent new parts to ADAC, they sent the parts to Morocco. Within a week, the customer could cruise carefree again, and we had a new fan.

We do it for stories like these! Because you, as a customer, are incredibly important to us, we have customer focus and service high on our list of values. This is also something that Mambo (our web shop manager) can proudly tell you about:

"I can proudly say that service is one of our most important values. Our team provides the best possible experience for our customers. For example, if you place an order before 3:00 pm, it will be sent the same day. Whether you live in the Netherlands or somewhere on the high plains of Mongolia or even on the moon, we are here for you. Okay, the moon is still a bit too far, but who knows what the future holds!"

Our web shop packs the packages as well as possible for you. Whether you order a package with one part or a package with three hundred parts, any combination is possible. Our motto is:

"With us, every package is packed the way we would expect it at home. We give the order the respectful attention it deserves, from our home to yours."

The most remarkable location from which we ever received an order was Saint Bartholomew, a French island in the Carribean.  The customer wanted to have a complete front axle shipped on a pallet to the island. The shipping costs alone were higher than the price of the front axle itself. So that wasn't going to work. As it happened, the customer was in France at the time. After weighing the options, the penny dropped for Mambo, who came up with the idea to disassemble the complete front axle, put it in boxes, and give it to the customer. The customer took the boxes with them on the plane, reassembled the front axle in Saint Bartholomew, and the job was done! It doesn't matter if you speak Dutch, French, German, or English and literally live on the other side of the world, you can always count on us. We are solution-oriented and always willing to think along with you.

  • Our beautiful 2CV products have been available for purchase on our web shop since 2012.
  • In 2022 we shipped no less than 30,000 (!) packages.
  • The weight limit for a package is between 0 and 30.5 kg. Note that there is a surcharge for weights above that.
  • When packaging our products, we largely use recycled materials.
  • And with every order, you receive an exclusive Burton 2CV sticker as an extra.

  • And finally: we can package and ship everything, and recently it has even become possible to have your order delivered to a pickup point.

SPEAKING OF pickup POINTS...

You know how it goes: you order something online and eagerly await your package. You step out for a drive in your 2CV and return home to find out that you just missed the mailman. No worries because we have the solution: our pickup points! Our pickup points are located throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France. Especially in France it is a huge success. The French know how to save money and avoid a lot of hassle! After all, you pay less for shipping, and you can pick up your package at a time that suits you. In addition to being practical and cost-reducing, using a pickup point is also a sustainable solution.

Instead of having multiple mail carriers come to deliver packages to individual homes, the packages are now delivered in bulk to a central point. This means less driving and therefore less CO2 emissions. In addition, our pickup points are often located in strategic locations, such as supermarkets or gas stations. This way, you can pick up your package while doing your groceries, saving an extra trip and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions while also saving money. In short, our pickup points are not only practical and cost-saving, but also a sustainable option for picking up and returning online orders.

GUARANTEE

We at Burton 2CV Parts are also human and, like everyone else, we sometimes make mistakes. Unfortunately, we must admit that we have occasionally sent the wrong product, that a product did not meet quality standards, or that the product was damaged during shipping. In such cases, we always do our utmost to resolve the problem. For example, we once received a defective fuse box. Antoni (our mechanic) investigated and found that the box had burned out due to an excess of electricity. Antoni immediately contacted the customer to have the car checked to make sure everything was connected properly. According to the customer, everything was connected correctly. In cases where the cause cannot be determined, we always act in the customer's favor. In this case, we sent the customer a new product free of charge. If you ever have a problem with the wrong, defective, or damaged product, please don't hesitate to call! For warranty issues, we will assess whether the problem falls within or outside the warranty. Of course, we will communicate clearly with you and work towards a suitable solution.

ASSORTMENT

At Burton, we are incredibly proud of our assortment of no less than 3,500 different 2CV products. Yes, you read that right, 3,500! And new products are added every day! With so many items, we have enough choices to satisfy even the most demanding 2CV enthusiasts. As if that weren't enough, we also have three floors of inventory, two warehouses full of inventory, and even an off-site warehouse. We are really nothing less than a treasure trove for 2CV enthusiasts. Searching for parts with us is like a treasure hunt, but with bolts and nuts instead of gold and silver.
